Penny Deux Lounge is one of Roanoke’s best cocktail bars. The lounge gets its name from one of Patrick Henry’s famous 1750s court case “Two Penny Act.” bar is located in the lobby of the Patrick Henry building. In addition to its historic namesake, Penny Deux Lounge also has strong ties to more recent history; Located in the lobby of the former Patrick Henry hotel, the space oozes local history.

The bar of Penny Deux Lounge sits where the front desk of the historic Patric Henry Hotel used to be. Sit down at our 50-person bar and see our bantenders mix wonderful libations. In addition to cocktails and beers the Lounge offers a full dinner menu from First & Sixth as well as a late-night bar menu.

Penny Deux Lounge offers live music on most weekend nights. Fridays the genre is more rock and on Saturdays we usually have a jazz band entertaining our guests.
