The Betty Branch Sculpture Studio & Gallery Open House began in 1983 on the 3rd floor of 118A Campbell Avenue. She and her son Patrick Branch, a painter, exhibited there together. Twelve years later Betty bought a warehouse at 123 Norfolk Avenue, which was a diamond in the rough along the railroad, with beautiful wood floors and brick walls for art making and gallery space.
Branch has had a December open house there every year since, except one. Her daughters Katey Branch, Sally Grace Branch, Polly Randel Branch and Bonny Branch have joined her and Patrick over the years exhibiting oil, watercolor and acrylic paintings, including monoprints, sculpture, vessels, wall hangings and photography.
Many of these unique pieces of art reside in local homes, businesses, restaurants, galleries and museums. It may say sculptor on the shingle hanging out front, but this gallery holds a world of wonderful art inside.
This is certainly an open house not to be missed.
