32nd Annual Old Southwest Parlor Tour

A Roanoke Tradition, the Old Southwest Parlor Tours return for a 32nd year of lights and amazement. Every year, a collection of homes in one of Roanoke’s precious historic districts deck the halls for all to see. Starting at Highland Park, guests get to waltz the streets of Old Southwest and watch as the lights dance and twinkle on architectural reminders of Roanoke’s grand past. The tours are a fantastic way to warm your heart and bring in the holiday season. Perhaps the grandest display of homes and lights in our area, this tour is intended to bring families together while they enjoy a moment of tradition. Imagine taking your spouse by the hand and walking along city streets as they did decades ago. Simply walking hand-in-hand and letting all of the troubles of shopping, working and planning fall off your shoulders. A peaceful and tranquil night with the one you love. Or gather up the kids and take a stroll as they quietly stare at the beautiful displays of lights. Take it as your own “silent night.” The kids are guaranteed to love the light displays. Take some ideas with you when you go and get the holiday spirit out at your own house. From wreaths to lights, decorate your own home with inspiration from this fantastic spectacle. Admission is only $15 and the tours run December 3rd from 5:00pm-9:00pm and December 4th from 1:00pm-5:00PM. Ticket sales begin one hour prior to the tour times. Whether you are viewing the homes with a lover, your family, or personal enjoyment, Old Southwest Parlor Tours will put the twinkle in your eye essential for the holiday season.
