About the Chef
S. Thomas Ford, graduate of Johnson and Wales, established his career in Charleston, SC, where he worked at Blossom Cafe. While there, he received recognition from top featured magazines and various cookbooks. While serving as chef at Blossom, Ford was also invited to the James Beard House where he received an “outstanding contribution.” Ford was integral in the opening of 419 West and worked at Paradox and Succotash. He has been a huge asset to 202 Market bringing with him his vast knowledge and cooking expertise in the kitchen. His cooking style features American cuisine with Mediterranean and Southern influences. Supporting Ford in the kitchen are co-executive chefs Jose Cabrera and Alex Tyree.
